Scrooge, you getting just a tourist visa or a working visa? The tourist visa is simple. Any travel agent, airline will get you one. You dont get anything, its an electronic visa that shows on your passport when scanned. I think a working visa is a bit more difficult. Gonna get my working visa through STA.

Gregs - important!!

dont get ur visa thru sta travel, itl cost u 100+

i just did mine online with australian govt, its all done online and u get a decision rly quick (mine was within 7 hours!!) i dont have link at mo cos im not on home pc but will post asap

also best news is cos its australian u pay in oz dollars and it works out at 77 due to their shite exchange rate!

honest dont do it any other way, wait for link and do it this way!

Or you could go direct to the Australian Government website and apply for your visa (Electronic Travel Authority) on there. It will cost you $20 and you can only pay by credit card.

It's how the bloke and I did ours last year and it was really easy.
